ESPN WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS® COMPLEX
Opened in 1997, ESPN Wide World of Sports® Complex is a 220-acre state-of-the-art facility that houses The Fieldhouse, a 165,000-square-foot field house which seats 5,500 for basketball; Champion Stadium ballpark (cap. 11,500); Hess Sports Fields, which include multiple baseball, softball and soccer fields; Jostens Center, an 80,000-square-foot multi-sport field house; and the Innovation Lab, a real-world testing ground for the ESPN Emerging Technology group to develop ground-breaking on-air products like Ball Track and ESPN Snap Zoom. The Complex is the No. 1 venue for amateur and professional sporting events in the country and hosts more than 300 sporting events each year, including the Atlanta Braves spring training, Pop Warner Super Bowl and several AAU National Championships.
INSIDE THE FIELDHOUSE
A state-of-the-art facility at ESPN Wide World of Sports® Complex, the Field House offers over 30,000 square feet of competition space on the bottom floor alone. Unprecedented features like new playing surfaces, spacious athlete training areas and open field house style construction make the FieldHouse unlike any other venue. Of the 5,000 seats, the highest row in the Milk House is only 35 feet off the ground, providing an up-close view of the action.
